Noah’s Ark story.

Discover Durupınar and eastern Turkey.
Thoughtfully planned routes, from one day to twelve.

01 / THE PLACE

A landscape with
a lasting question.

A boat-shaped outline in the hills near Doğubayazıt has inspired generations of visitors interested in Noah’s story. Drawn to wider attention through aerial photographs in 1959, Durupınar remains a place of exploration and debate. Its identification as the Ark has not been scientifically established.
